Bokonon – Wilden Seeker

This miniature is one of the Stormfall Archers from the Warmachine faction Retribution of Scyrah.

I have painted this mini with a spring color scheme to use as Wilden Seeker in a D&D 4E Eberron campaign.

I reconceptualize the hair as foliage, inspired by cherry blossoms. The uniform color scheme is reminiscent of beech bark.

The model was primed with gray Rustoleum ultimate any-surface. It was painted with P3 paints and coated with Testors clear-coat.

This is my first painted mini.

Remembering love as if it were yesterday

I’m an absolute fan of Manila Sound. I heard about one of my favorite folk artists back home releasing his own version of this timeless song entitled "Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok Ko (Even if I have White Hair)".

For those who don’t understand, the text means "We will bring back what has passed".

The song just tells about somebody who asks the one he loves if she will still love him even when he grows old with white grey hair and all (thus the title referring to the color of the hair, alluding to old age).

I suppose true love does last a lifetime. At least the enduring ones…

Needed a new professional head shot… The one I had been using was still from my brief hair-coloring days. Much better to go natural, gray is beautiful!
